Project Overview
The Modern Hillside Residence was conceived as a contemporary home that responds directly to its surrounding landscape while maximizing panoramic views of the city below. Situated on a sloped site, the design carefully follows the natural topography, creating a series of layered volumes that step down the hillside. This approach not only minimizes disruption to the land but also allows each level of the home to maintain a strong visual connection to the outdoors.
The architectural language is defined by clean lines, open spaces, and a restrained material palette that emphasizes simplicity and elegance. Large floor-to-ceiling glass panels blur the boundary between interior and exterior, allowing natural light to flood the living spaces throughout the day. Outdoor terraces and transitional spaces further enhance this connection, creating a seamless flow between indoor comfort and outdoor living.
Internally, the layout is designed to support both privacy and openness. Communal areas are positioned to take advantage of the best views, while more private spaces are tucked into quieter zones of the home. The result is a residence that feels both expansive and intimate, offering a balanced living experience that is deeply connected to its environment.
